NEW YORK, NY, USA

May 7 

I finished my last college class ever and decided that Olivia and I would make our way to New York City for a fun little getaway! We drove nonstop to NYC, gettting stuck in brooklyn traffic and finally making it to Long Island. We stopped for dinner at the Ugly Duckling, I had one drink that was purely alcohol and Olivia had to drive us to the hotel. whoops....


May 8

We got up early and decided to go to walk the Brooklyn Bridge, TWICE! I think we walked about 15 miles today. Later in the afternoon we made our way to the Museum of Sex in flatiron. Now let me tell you, this was WILD, There were three floors dedicated to the art of sex. Including phallic games on each floor, I won obviously and was crowned sex god. We made our way to Swingers... Very fitting... except it was actually an adult putt putt course in the basement of a building. We were served drinks every few holes and finished our night there! I highly recommend both of these places if you ever go to New York!
 
May 9 

We started our day strong at a farmer market and grabbing a bagel on our walk over to the MET. Yes, the famous MET! we went through that entire museum, admiring the beauty of art styles spanning across the world and time. We watched artists at work, using their hands to translate the sculpture infront of them to paper. We stopped for dinner at a small italian ristorante in Central Park, Viand, they make everything from scatch, a must try if you’re in the area! We made oour way to Tiki Chick, a tiki themed bar in the Upper West Side of NYC. It was a super cute tropical vibe and they played movies as we drank our fun little cocktails! Truly a fun day! 


May 10

We woke up early, rebulls stocked in the car, prepared for the long drive home. We stopped at Long Island beach to smell the ocean once more before we went back to Michigan. I graduated from College the next day, this was truly an amazing trip with ny best friend and I wouldn’t change a thing!
