I traveled to NYC with my Partner and their family for a wedding, it was an amazing experience.  We made it into a small trip to ecplore New York, I have been to the city once before, but I was 13 so I never got to truly explore it! 

The first night we got there we mostly stayed around Times Square and ate at nearby food vendors. We visited the Statue of Liberty and went up to the her feet, we got to see the skyline of the city from across the water! As we left a storm rolled in, giving Lady Liberty a very mysterious look as the fog engulfed her. 

We went on top of the Rockfeller Center and Empire State Building, viewing the city from up top, you got to see the entire city and beyond. 

We saw two musicals on Broadway, because that is an obvious must when you’re in New York! We saw Aladdin and Aint Too Proud, they were both very good, but Aint Too Proud hit home because its ties to Detroit.
